Sa3ed Tas3ad (ساعد تسعد) is a Lebanese non-profit organization (NGO) registration number 6965, founded in January 2020 to create sustainable social and economic change across Lebanon.
The NGO’s first call to action stemmed from the grave repercussions of the economic crisis in Lebanon, which erupted in October 2019. As a result, thousands of Lebanese families became impoverished, and were unable to source basic nutritional needs. Sa3ed Tas3ad, through its local and international network, raised funds to package and distribute food boxes to families across Lebanon, a mission which continues until today.
Building on securing the basic requirements of families, the mission of the NGO soon extended and transformed, to encompass creating sustainable economic and social programs in cities, towns and villages across Lebanon. By capitalizing on the rich natural resources of Lebanon, which are predominantly untapped, each community will transform through localized projects lead by Sa3ed Tas3ad. Through these projects, citizens and families will benefit and take the lead to secure their financial requirements, and enhance their social and nutritional needs.
